Rushcombe school leavers left parents asking for more at their production of Oliver |
School leavers at Rushcombe First School produced a special production of Oliver for their parents.
All 68 Year 4 pupils took part in the event, which was held at St Nicholas Church to enable more parents to attend.
And three of the school’s governors formed to band to play piano, guitar and bass guitar to accompany all the songs.
Acting headteacher Leonie Fawcett said: "We started a year leavers’ production last year and we’ve continued the tradition this year. The teachers and children decided it would be lovely to do Oliver as part of their current Victorian topic."
"It’s been a really good opportunity to bring all their skills together - they’ve been designing programs for the event, organising costumes and practising songs and drama."
