Admission Arrangements
In
accordance with the Dorset Education Authority arrangements, all children
are admitted to school at the following times:
September, for all children on a part-time basis whose birthday falls between 1 September and 31 August
Children whose birthday falls between 1 September and 28 February become full-time after October half term
Children whose fifth birthday falls between 1 March and 31 August become
full-time in January
Children moving into the area during the school year, will be admitted to the school providing that a place is available in their school year.
If parents wish to appeal against the non-admission of a child, under Section 7 of the 1980 Education Act, they should write to: The Admission Officer, Education Directorate, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, DORSET DT1 1XJ
