Admission Arrangements
In
accordance with the Dorset Education Authority arrangements, all children
are admitted to school at the following times:
September, for all children on a part-time basis whose birthday falls between 1 September and 31 August
Children whose birthday falls between 1 September and 28 February become full-time after October half term
Children whose fifth birthday falls between 1 March and 31 August become
full-time in January
Children moving into the area during the school year, will be admitted to the school providing that a place is available in their school year.
If parents wish to appeal against the non-
admission of a child, under Section 7 of the 1980 Education Act, they should complete a relevant Appeal form available from www.dorsetforyou.com/schooladmissions or by calling 01305 221060. If the appeal is for
Reception, Year 1 or Year 2
the appeal form relevant to Infant
Class Size legislation must be completed.
