It
is one of the aims of a First School to help a child move from being
concerned only with him/herself to being concerned about others, their safety
and their well-being. We would expect children to observe high standards
of courtesy and behaviour. If a child has a problem at school, a conference
with parents and teacher, or Headteacher, is arranged so that all concerned
can work together to help their child. Similarly, we ask parents to contact
us if they are anxious about any aspect of their child’s well being.
The school has a code of conduct for Behaviour in School. This was compiled
by the children, parents and staff of Rushcombe.
By working together, we believe our children can reach their full potential. Parents, staff and children all sign this document. Contact the school office, where a copy of this is available for you to peruse.
